Beijing Project Office

The Beijing Project Office (BPO), headed by Mitsue Hayashi (project professor), serves as the operational center for the IMSUT activities in China and a part of the network of educational and research institutions in Beijing.

BPO plays a major role in negotiation with the Chinese side regarding the implementation of the project and provides logistic support for the Japanese scientists.
BPO is gathering the information about emerging and reemerging infections from Chinese mass media and official announcements, and the gathered information has been updated on the Project website.
