Gohda’s research group has been focusing on three research subjects of HIV-1 infection:
  1. The epidemiological study of the co-receptor usage of HIV-1 in China,
  2. The cell biological study of osteopenia in patients chronically infected with HIV-1
  3. The analysis of the molecular mechanisms of latent HIV-1 infection
In addition, the group is going to start the epidemiological study of norovirus in China.
