To help mutual understanding between the staff members of the two joint-laboratories and their training as well, BPO has been holding mixers on a semi-regular basis. A mixer consists of presentations of their works in progress, followed by a party with a light meal. Sometimes scientists visiting Beijing for scientific meetings have joined the mixers.
